One reason this website was created was to provide a place for those interested in early music to exchange ideas, experiences and opinions about 18th century music, and especially about Clio & Euterpe.
One of the best definitions of chamber music of the period describes it as the music of friends. Our hope is that this site will become a meeting place for friends and inspire visitors to discuss music and share information—perhaps to eventually meet and share the music itself.
To this end Clio & Euterpe is hosting a forum through Google Groups. To join, visit Clio & Euterpe Online Forum and let us know you want to be a part of the discussion. If you don't have a Google account, you can sign up for one at that time. It's free—just the way we like things.
Clio &: Euterpe Online now also has a YouTube channel. We hope to begin recording and uploading peformances of songs from the collection, and invite you to do so as well. Just send us an email if you're interested in participating.
